This is the men’s Altra Lone Peak 7 trail running shoe, which is available in standard and wide width. The Lone Peak 7 has upgraded outsole grip compared with the Lone Peak 6. This has been achieved by Altra by increasing the length and amount of outsole lugs. They dig in better and deeper on a mixture of trail terrain. The Lone Peak 7 is a FootShape running shoe, which gives the trail runner’s feet more room to expand and a chance to spread out on impact. This is a Zero Drop trail running shoe, designed to encourage a more midfoot landing, which helps keep the cadence higher and a encourages a feeling of being “light on your feet”.
